Berklee College of Music Professor Jason Anick, has earned a reputation among string players as an imaginative improviser, versatile composer, and insightful educator.
Growing up playing fiddle tunes with his family and classical music with local orchestras, he developed a passion for improvisation, which led him to study jazz and classical music at Hartt Conservatory.
Kimber Ludiker

Born of fiddle playing parents in Spokane, WA, Kimber Ludiker is part of a 5-generation fiddling family. She started learning on the lap of her grandfather at age 3, and went on to win three National Fiddle Championship titles. She is the founder of Della Mae, a GRAMMY-nominated, service-driven, all-woman string-band that has traveled with the US Department of State to over 20 countries spreading peace and understanding through music.

Grammy-nominated, and “one of America’s premier fiddling talents” (Mother Jones), Bruce’s take on tradition has landed him in collaborations with some of the world’s most highly respected players from roots to rock. Berklee College of Music has made Bruce their Visiting Scholar in the American Roots Music Program where Bruce is the go-to guy for the next generation of roots musicians.

Effervescent and engaging, Boston-based fiddler Hanneke Cassel is a performer, teacher and composer whose career spans over two decades. Her style fuses influences from the Isle of Skye and Cape Breton Island with Americana grooves and musical innovations, creating a cutting-edge acoustic sound that retains the integrity and spirit of the Scottish tradition.

Jordan Tice is a singular voice on the American roots music scene. Over the last ten years, he has developed a reputation as a unique and versatile guitarist and prolific composer of some of the most thoughtful and well-crafted tunes of his generation. Jordan has a voice and sonic aesthetic that is all his own with which he filters the sounds and conventions of American Music into something unique.
Billy Contreras

Billy is a fiddler from Nashville TN. He grew up learning from and playing as fiddle partner to Buddy Spicher. He plays fiddle with Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder. Billy has played or recorded with Lionel Hampton, George Jones, Zach Bryan, and Bela Fleck among others. He enjoys playing, teaching, recording, and composing music.
